Body intelligence is your body's ability to inform you of everything you need to be fit, the optimal weight, energetically balanced and restored. It is learning how to tune in to the body's innate wisdom. What is right for your body is entirely unique and the answers for how to care for it come from within, not from external sources and programs.

Each of our bodies has a set point in present time for weight, vitality and amount of exercise and rest needed. As two third of our nation is a little to quite overweight, a little to quite sleep deprived and chronically overmedicated, most teen and adult set points are too high, dangerously inaccurate and not serving our health and beauty in any way, shape or form.

In the coaching relationship we will come up with a designer blueprint for your body dictated by you. We will work collaboratively to lower or change your set point to suit your goals. In the case of people who under-eat and over-exercise we must for instance raise not lower the set point. Changing set point can take 6-12 months depending on how long you have been out of whack so to speak! Changing your set point obviously involves physical changes in routine, equally important, however are mental and emotional changes.

We all developed our belief systems about our bodies and health in our first 12 years of life--a little scary to think about. Once we develop those beliefs and attitudes we keep on reinforcing them, making them very rigid. We will ferret out the limiting beliefs and attitudes that have led to self- destructive choices for many years and permanently change them to serve the age body we are now in.

On the emotional front- stored grief, trauma, hurt, guilt and fear will cause us to hang on to weight no matter how many diet programs we try. 85% of people who loose 30-100 lbs in any number of weight loss programs will put it right back on within a year. Why? Because the structural causes which are mental and emotional were not identified or changed. The good news is once we update the mental concepts and clear the emotional residual you now have a set point you can maIntain for years to come.

Each body is entirely different in the plan that will work as each body has a different history- childhood, genetic, emotional histories all vary. The goal is to co-create a lifetime body intelligence plan that you can update by yourself as life circumstances change. By the end of our time you will know how to dialougue with your own body and get all the answers you need to stay younger, more radiant and vibrantly health on a permanent basis.
